Sunny Saturday

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I hope you all enjoyed your Saturday. In New Jersey, it was supposed to be storming all day. At about 6:30 am, I heard some thunder and was actually excited for such a stormy day. For whatever reason, I love thunder storms! Then at about 7, the rain cleared up and the sun came out leading to a hot and humid day.

Since I had ran Friday, I ate breakfast and got ready before heading to the grocery store. I’ve learned that having a written list helps me go through the store so much faster. When I got home, Alex asked if I wanted to go with him to give an estimate (he runs a construction company). Since I did not feel like folding laundry off we went! We grabbed sandwiches on the way home to enjoy.

I decided that I was going to go to the library and get a card. I was so glad I did. I am a pretty fast reader so I fly through books. As much as I would love to buy new books all of the time that would get expensive quickly and I don’t have enough room in the apartment unfortunately. While at the library, I grabbed three books plus the second and third Harry Potter movies. After watching the first one Monday night, Alex and I decided we want to watch all of them. Luckily our library has them in stock!

Once home, I finally folded the laundry while watching “Gilmore Girls”. Thank god for Netflix because it makes folding laundry 10x more fun. After a little more cleaning, I started to type of this blog post.

While on my lunch break Friday, I started looking into how to make a header for the blog. After finding a tutorial that showed how to add it on WordPress, I spent about two hours working on a logo and updating the blog. I’m really happy with how it turned out and that you guys enjoy it as much as I do.

For dinner, we made some Italian sausage with roasted potatoes. 21 seasoning salute from Trader Joe’s is the only spice I put on the potatoes. It is so good! It has 21 different spices in it so you get a nice mix of flavors. Alex and I love it on burgers as well!

After dinner, we cuddled up on the couch to watch “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” since we decided we want to watch the entire series again. Renting the movies for free from the library is going to let us accomplish this goal much faster.

Have a fantastic Sunday!
