Daily Happenings, Weekend

Sunday At Home

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Yesterday was a lazy but also busy day. After spending a day in the sun, a trip to the grocery store was necessary. I also needed to head to Target to get some cleaning supplier but I had perishable foods so I went home first. By the time the groceries were unpacked, it was almost 12 so I read a bit before heading out again. A grilled cheese sounded so good so that plus carrots and hummus was my lunch.

Is it just me or does a quick run to Target turn into an all out spree for other people? I ended up buying a new bathing suit even though I went in for cleaning products and water.

When I got home, I folded laundry and read on the couch before dinner. Alex requested chicken caesar salad for dinner which sounded delicious. Neither of us were that hungry or felt like cooking so we didn’t! I roasted a small potato and Alex made a quesadilla and that was our dinner. We planned on finishing “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” but got sidetracked talking to each other.

Jokingly, I told him that today was really challenging because I couldn’t cuddle with him (poor boy is sunburned over his entire body) and couldn’t decide if I wanted popcorn with the movie. Considering Alex took an exam, two quizzes and did a homework assignment while feeling terrible with a sunburn I was clearly joking.

I want to start leaving a question at the end of my posts to get to know y’all better. Leave a comment with your answer! Question of the Day: What was your “challenge” from yesterday?

Have a great day!
