I Should Be Hungry

Happy hump day! I hope you’re all having a great week. It looks like we might be getting some rain today or tomorrow here in New Jersey but I’m hoping if it rains during the week it means this weekend will be nice. Have a great day πŸ™‚


Since the mornings are getting colder, I opted for a simple and filling breakfast of oatmeal yesterday. I just use water in mine and once it’s cooked, I added a bunch of cinnamon and scoop of peanut butter. Oatmeal is honestly a go to breakfast of mine during the fall and winter. After I ate, I was out the door for the day.


I really branched out for lunch guys. And by branched out, I mean I had a turkey and ham sandwich instead of peanut butter. If you remember, I said I eat the same thing every day for lunch. I’m a creature of habit what can I say. Truth be told, yesterday’s sandwich happened because there was turkey meat from the deli counter that I don’t want to throw out.


After work, it was time to run. I had 3-4 miles on the agenda and figured I would just see how I felt before I decided how far to go. Since I was feeling good, 4 miles (technically 4.05) was what I ended up completing. For whatever reason my legs felt heavy so I stretched really well when I was done.


Once I was showered and in my pjs, I settled on the couch to read. Whenever I got up to fill my water bottle, Grace would follow me. I think she thought I would sneak her some human food since I was opening the fridge.

After a bit, I realized it was almost 8pm and somehow wasn’t hungry. I just never ate dinner which seemed really weird. I’m usually starving by 7:30 so I felt out of whack a bit. Alex wasn’t hungry either so we decided to move our dinner idea to the next night instead of making something neither of us were even going to enjoy.Β It’s currently 8:56 pm on Tuesday night as I type this post and still not hungry.Β 

I got in bed and read a little more before falling asleep. Overall, I pretty boring day here but I think boring days are needed every once in a while right?!

    1. I hate days where my appetite is weird since I just want to eat like normal. This might not be the best but sometimes on days I’m not hungry, I’ll force myself to eat so I don’t get light headed or anything from a lack of nutrients.

    And nice job on your run! Grace is so cute. I need a golden. That’s weird you weren’t hungry – are you feeling hungrier this morning? Sometimes that randomly happens to me, depending on my workouts/mood!

    My Tuesday was great – super productive and active!

    1. It was good and I’m sure it’ll pop up a milllion times over the cold months ahead lol. I would consider getting a golden since her and her sister have grown on me. It’s 9:12 am and I still haven’t had breakfast. Granted I had a handful of cereal to tide me over on the drive to work since we were supposed to get breakfast for employee appreciation week but it’s not in the break room. This probably means I’ll be a bottomless pit later but oh well!

  2. It’s crazy that you weren’t hungry! After I run I don’t usually feel hungry for a couple hours and have to force myself to eat something. My legs felt super heavy on my run yesterday too! Weird.
