Sunday in Pictures Vol. 4

Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was the perfect mix of relaxing and busy. Have a great day πŸ™‚

Sunday mornings tradition of pancakes was back in swing.

Some tunes to get our day going.

Online shopping the new Magnolia collection at Target. I can’t decide what I want!

While Alex took an exam, I watched some YouTube videos while folding laundry and cleaned then organized my dresser, which was much needed!

Leftovers fromΒ Cafe Carriage HouseΒ for lunch. I seriously need another Chipotle chicken panini in my life.

A midday trip to Target for a couple necessities. The Hearth and Hand line was just as cute in person as it was online. I managed to not buy anything but I’m sure I will soon.

Exchanging Alex’s birthday gifts at the mall and outlets on the 60 degree day in November…Fall is nonexistent here in New Jersey this year.

The perfect dinner for Sunday night – pasta and red wine.

My favorite fall candle from Bath and Body Works is Mahogany Teakwood. The scent is amazing and I need to pick up a few more!

More Stranger Things since I’m still on the first season.

Cake for dessert. This picture is from Saturday because the leftovers got a little squished in the container and didn’t look pretty anymore πŸ™‚

Question of the day: What was the best thing you ate and/or did this weekend?

  1. I went out for brunch yesterday before spotting my friend in the N.Y. Marathon! Got the yummiest smoked salmon onion scramble with breakfast potatoes – delish!

  2. You are the second blogger I’ve read today enjoying Stranger Things! I’m such a scardy cat– how creepy is it? The Hubs wants to watch it and I don’t want to be spooked when I’m home alone – lol.

    1. I HATE scary movies and stuff but love Stranger Things! It’s more suspenseful than scary so you should totally watch it! Alex works long hours since he has a long commute and I’m not scared being home alone after watching it. I highly recommend just trying it πŸ™‚

    1. It also has some hot Italian sausage in it and it’s the best and easiest meal! I’m excited that I’m only halfway through season 1 so that I have a whole season to watch after but I know I’ll miss it once I finish season 2. Isn’t the weather so weird this year? I’m ready for cooler weather although I’ll probably regret that statement when it’s in the single digits πŸ˜‰

I hope you are having a great Monday Dawn!

  3. I had a super low-key weekend, but i FINALLY got my apartment organized after weeks of craziness, which felt great.
Jealous that you’re just on season one of Stranger Things! I’ve binge watched both seasons multiple times and I am already restless for Season 3. It’s my favorite right now!

    1. Low-key weekends are sometimes the best! An organized apartment gives the best feeling so I totally hope you have that.
I can already tell that I’m going to be restless when I finish season 2 of the show. The show is just SO good!!

  4. I can’t wait to check out the Hearth and Home collection! I love Chip and Joanna!
We have only watched the first episode of Stranger Things 2 – hoping to catch up this week!
    Enjoy your day πŸ™‚

    1. Me too! If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend Magnolia Story! It’s a great read and you can really see their personalities show in the writing.
I’m still on episode 5 of the first season so I have a long way to go. It’s just so good!
Thank you Erinn! I hope you have a wonderful day πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you! I was so happy with how the decorating turned out since it was the first time I frosted a cake like that! I was shocked at how I didn’t buy anything but I may go back for some stockings πŸ™‚

  5. oh my goodness I cannot wait to go look at the magnolia collection!! And that cake looks fabulous! I worked nights this weekend but I’m looking forward to a three day weekend coming up πŸ™‚

    1. I might go back and get some stockings from the collection for us! Everything is cute and classy but also trendy if that makes sense. Thank you! I worked hard on the cake hehe. Weekend nights is intense for work. I hope your 3 day weekend is amazing πŸ™‚
