Sunday In Pictures Vol. 10

Happy Monday! Can you guys believe that Christmas is 2 weeks away from today?! That’s crazy. Have a great day πŸ™‚

Sundays breakfast was waffles that were in the freezer from last week and bacon.

My next group of library books.

Lunch was leftover pesto tortellini, carrots and hummus.

Once laundry was done and the bathroom was cleaned, I enjoyed a mug of tea by the tree.

Still working on Fannie Flagg’sΒ “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe”.

Dinner was at a holiday party and included tortellini, some sort of creamy pasta, salad and some bread.

Look at this dessert table, there was another small area too!

I went for strawberry shortcake. Homemade whipped cream is my weakness on desserts.

We ended the night in front of a fire while watchingΒ “It’s a Wonderful Life”Β and sipping on hot chocolate with a little bit of Bailey’s in it.

Question of the day: What’s the high from your weekend?

  1. Your living room setup to watch It’s A Wonderful Life looks so homey! I wish we could have a tree but the cats… I have never read Fried Green Tomatoes but I have seen the movie and it is so good. In fact, I think I need to watch it again. I love Kathy Bates!

    1. I give all the credit to my boyfriend on that! He is very into his movie watching experience. I knew Fried Green Tomatoes was a movie but I never realized it was also a book until it was recommended to me!

    1. So many people brought desserts to the party! I honestly think everyone could have had at least 3 different desserts and there would still have been leftovers. Definitely watch it before Christmas πŸ™‚

    1. I’m so glad to hear that you love that book! It’s been on my list for a while and I finally picked it up. That’s about how much we ended up getting too! I feel like it barely snows before Christmas but not this year.
