Sunday In Pictures Vol. 14

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I’m off work for Martin Luther King Day and I can’t wait to relax just a bit more. Have a great day 🙂

Waffles and bacon for breakfast plus a mug of tea and glass of milk.

I read on the couch to ease into the morning. I’m so invested in this book and have less than 100 pages left!

I listened to a new podcast while I worked on baking bread.

A ham sandwich with carrots and hummus for lunch.

A trip to the library to restock on books.

Recipe testing for a future post!

Is there anything better than freshly baked bread? I used this recipe and it was so good!!

Dinner was steak, broccoli, mashed potatoes and bread.

Netflix, wine, cuddles on the couch and a fire are a fantastic way to end the day.

Question of the day: What was the highlight of your weekend?

  1. Great pictures! It looks like such a relaxing day and that bread look delicious! 🙂 The highlight of my weekend was the girls movie night that my roommate and I hosted! We had such a fun time with our friends and after the movie, most people stayed a long time afterwards just talking. It was like the sleepovers I used to go to when I was younger! 🙂

      1. That’s such a cute idea! I also didn’t watch it until later – my roommate in college found out I hadn’t seen it and decided that was not ok! Haha. That’s great you are making it a tradition!

  2. fresh baked bread… yummy. Looks like you had a good weekend. I’ll have to check out that book you are reading I’m almost done with the one I’m reading now (i’ll post a review when I finish it) The highlight of my weekend… hmmm not sure but one of the fun moments was watching the birds in my backyard. I’m going to post pictures of the ones who were feeding off my back steps tomorrow. I need to go through the pictures first, but it will be one of 2 posts I’m writing tomorrow.

    1. I have so many true crime favorites! I love Up and Vanished, Casefile, Sword and Scale. Uncivil is good which is history related but super interesting. The one I just started in this post is becoming a favorite as well. Oh and I started Atlanta Monster which I really enjoy! I’ll have to check out that podcast!
