I woke up feeling so good Wednesday morning. It was like someone gave me a shot of happy right before I woke up which was great. After getting ready to work I cooked breakfast. Obviously it was scrambled eggs and toast.
Work went by pretty quick which was nice. At 3 pm every day I always have a Greek yogurt. Does anyone else have a snack at some point during the day? For whatever reason, 3 pm is when my stomach starts to grumble and it works for me since I get a little food in for a pre workout snack. My personal favorite brand is Oiko Triple Zero Greek Yogurt. It fueled me on my 30 minute turned hour long conference call at the end of the day.
When I got home, I immediately changed into sweats. For whatever reason, I got home and was freezing! It probably didn’t help that I took the garbage out without a coat but still. Normally I don’t put on baggy sweats and a sweatshirt but Alex was gone at a work event and it was just me…so baggy sweats and sweatshirt sounded amazing! It warmed me up plus it got me nice and comfy for my night in.
Like my usual “I’m alone for dinner” meal, I made a roasted potato. While it was roasting in the oven, I finally sat down to read the winter edition of the Magnolia Journal. I cuddled up on the couch to enjoy my bowl of potatoes while watching Friends.
After dinner, I read a bit and did some stuff around the apartment. I was craving something sweet and decided to make a mini milkshake. I blended together a frozen banana, chocolate ice cream, milk and scoop of peanut butter. Adding the banana and peanut butter made it semi healthy right? I sipped on my dessert while watching So Undercover on Netflix. Yes I’m aware it’s not a great movie but I like something on in the background okay?
Question of the day: I’m just going to say right now that this will be a little long. So at work yesterday, I got really inspired and I starting thinking about the future and goals. One thing I was looking at/thinking about was my blog. I really enjoy blogging you guys, so much more than I ever thought I would. But what I want to know is what do you want to see? Fitness, running, recipes, treats, continue what I’m doing with just writing about my days. Tell me! I want to know what type of posts you guys want to see! I have a big old list I made but that won’t mean much if no one else is interested in those topics. So please tell me what you would like to see on Maureen Gets Real, I would love to hear it 🙂
