Happy Wednesday! This week seems to be flying by for me. Does anyone else feel this way? It’s currently foggy out here in Jersey but the thermometer is supposed to go over 70 degrees so I’ll take the fog! Have a great day 🙂
Tuesday started out pretty typical with a nice early alarm before getting ready for work. For breakfast, I had scrambled eggs and toast once again. When I checked the weather and the temperature was in the lower 50s before 7 am. That meant no coat for me! It was amazing to not need a coat in February.
During the day, the sun was shining and all I wanted to do was see if my laptop could get wifi outside so I could enjoy the amazing weather. After work, I practically ran to my car so that I could get home and run. It was another February run in shorts! 4 easy miles before doing an arms and abs Blogilates video. These are fantastic if you want some shorter videos. Each on was about 10 minutes and the burn is real.
Alex had a late meeting so it was just me at home. I turned on a podcast while I got some things crossed off my to do list. When it came time for dinner, I wasn’t starving (probably because I had a spoon or two of peanut butter while making my lunch…) so I ended up just roasting some potatoes to enjoy. This time I topped them with some nutritional yeast and my usual ketchup and hot sauce. The yeast didn’t have a huge cheese flavor but that could definitely be because I had condiments on top of it. While I ate, I turned on Chicken Little because I’m clearly a mature 22 year old.
When Alex got home, we hung out a bit and then I finished Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson. The entire time, my thoughts kept switching on how I thought the book would end. It kept me interested the entire time which was amazing. If you are looking for a thriller then check out this book. It’s also a movie so now I want to get my hands on it to compare the two. Once that was finished, I headed to bed.
Question of the day: Is the weather unusually nice by you for February.
