A Little Family Dinner

Hi friends and happy Saturday! I hope you have something fun on the agenda for the day and that the weather is going to be nice for you. Have a great day 🙂

Friday morning started with the typical breakfast that I’ve been having recently fried eggs and my oatmeal muffin.

The bananas I had bought as some fruit for the week started to get too mushy so I was out of my typical midmorning snack. Luckily I had some roasted chickpeas leftover from Sunday so I brought the rest to work with me. They were the perfect boost of energy to get my through until lunch.

After work I came home and took a short walk with Bailey and Alex. Since allergies have really knocked me down this week, I haven’t run at all. I told Alex that I probably could have yesterday but one more day to rest was better to play it safe than sorry. When we got home from our short walk, I settled in on the couch to finish Where They Found Her. It’s not really a suspense novel but it has a suspense feel to it haha. I recommend it for sure!

Alex’s parents had the family over for dinner last night. Bailey loved running around with the other dogs even though they didn’t play with her as much as she thought they should, aka the entire time without any stopping lol. For dinner, we had grilled chicken, potatoes and asparagus. I don’t know what they did to the chicken but it was delicious.

We said out goodbyes and headed home. To round out our Friday, we watched a few episodes of The Office and headed to bed!

Question of the day: What did you have for dinner last night?
