My Top 10 Favorite Foods

Happy hump day friends! I hope your week is going well so far. A few weeks ago, I saw Erinn write about her top 10 favorite foods which seemed like a fun idea to me. So today I’m sharing with you my top 10 favorite foods. Well my top 10 as of right now because they could change. Enjoy 🙂

Fresh Blackberries

  1. Fresh from the farm fruit – there’s something so much better about fruit straight from a farm or apple orchard than when it’s bought at the grocery store

2. Peanut butter – I can eat spoonfuls of it!

3. Pizza

4. Italian beef – a Chicago staple

5. Popcorn

6. Ice Cream – especially chocolate peanut butter flavored

7. Fresh baked bread

8. Buffalo chicken

9. Chicken Caesar salad

10. Roasted potatoes

It was so hard just picking 10 foods! I had so many that I could have put so maybe I’ll check back in a few months down the road if my list has changed.

Question of the day: What’s one of your favorite foods?

  1. Hey Maureen! We definitely have some favorite foods in common. In my list I would add french fries, pasta and steak. I don’t think a week passes without me eating them all lol.

  2. picking produce from from the tree/bush/plant is the best… nothing compares to the taste of it being that fresh.

I considered doing a list like this after seeing Erinn’s too, maybe I need to do one soon… or have my boys do these lists, that would be fun to see too

  3. Yum! We definitely have some faves in common, yes to farmers market fruit, pizza, popcorn and bread. I’d probably have to add sushi and some sort of Mexican to my list as well.

  4. 1, 2, 5, and 10 are favorites of mine today. I love roasted potatoes anytime of the day, especially with breakfast!!!!!

    1. I know! This is probably a bad expalanation lol but Italian beef is this Chicago dish that I love. It’s thin slice beef (no idea what the cut is) that’s slow cooked (I think? maybe not) and has a bunch of Italian seasonings on it. The beef then goes onto Italian bread (I think it’s Italian bread) and then a little bit of the juice goes on the bread. Some people put peppers on the sandwich but I don’t. Seriously that was the worst description of a food dish ever lol and you’re probably even more confused than before!

  5. Oooo I love this post! I am with you on the PB, pizza, ice cream, popcorn, and fresh baked bread. Our list would be VERY similar. I would also add dolmas (grape leaves) and purple sweet potatoes. Mmmm mmm!

    1. I’ve never had grape leaves or purple sweet potatoes! I feel like I need to try sweet potatoes again since taste buds changed. They used to be gross to me but maybe I’ll change my tune now that I’m older.

      1. Ok honestly… I’m SO lazy… I put it in a bowl with water for 5 minutes one side in the microwave, flip, then cook for 5 minutes the other side in the water, then drain it 🙈 but it works so well and tastes soooooo goood
